Come in and make yourself comfortable. Stop frowing, because a smile is almost compulsory in my studio, despite the fact, that a sculptorˋs life is not always a bed of roses; but probably everybody could sigh this way.

None other than the world famous playwright Friedrich Dürrenmat said that the most serious things in life can be expressed with humor. A writer can express the way he feels with beautiful words or brilliant dialogues. A sculptor however has to concentrate everything in a single moment, gesture and expression. In my case, I would add – in a single smile... on the observerˋs face.

I will be happy, if you learn to like my statues too. If they help you to put yourself above your problems with a smile, we both will win.
